Make An Appointment

In order to provide spay and neuter services, SOS partners with local shelters and humane organizations in the Finger Lakes region and beyond by traveling from county to county on a rotating basis.

Which animals qualify?

• Dogs and cats from families of low income (please discuss income requirements with your local shelter)
• Shelter dogs and cats and other stray/unclaimed dogs and cats
• Feral cats, barn cats, cat colonies
• Dogs and cats from rescue organizations
• Dogs and cats from Native American Nations

Animals are welcome from all Finger Lakes counties and beyond. To date animals have been served from the following counties: Tompkins, Cortland, Chemung, Schuyler, Yates, Steuben, Cayuga, Seneca, Tioga, Onondaga, Chenango, Broome, Madison, Oswego.

How do I schedule an animal?

All appointments are scheduled by our SOS partner organizations. In order to schedule an appointment for your dog or cat, please contact your local animal shelter or humane organization. Even if SOS does not travel to your nearest animal shelter or humane organization, you may still be able to make an appointment.

Monday:
Central New York Spay Neuter Assistance Program (CNY SNAP) / Central New York Cat Coalition (CNYCC)

Tuesday:
The SPCA of Tompkins County

Wednesday:
The Humane Society of Schuyler County: 2nd, 4th, 5th Wednesdays of each month
Chemung County SPCA: 1st, 3rd Wednesdays of each month

Thursday:
Paradise Garden Animal Haven (PGAH) the 1st, 3rd and 5th of each month
Broome County Humane Society on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month

Friday:
Finger Lakes SPCA of CNY: 1st, 3rd, 5th Friday of each month
Beverly Animal Shelter: 3rd Friday of each month

Saturdays and Sundays:
The location rotates depending upon clinic requests from our partner organizations
