Dr. Paul Maza has been working for SOS since 2004. He is also on the faculty of the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to the duties he has with SOS and the veterinary college, he runs a NGO called FARVets in which he leads teams to travel to places domestic and abroad to work with needy communities to address overpopulation and welfare issues in the stray dog and cat populations as well as pets of families that don’t have access to veterinary care. He has led trips to countries all over Central and South America, the Caribbean, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, India and Southeast Asia. Paul enjoys doing trail running events of up to 50 miles and more, and he and his family enjoy traveling, playing sports, and camping and hiking with their dogs and cats.
