Dr. Paul Maza has been working for SOS since 2004. He is also on the faculty of the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to the duties he has with SOS and the veterinary college, he rus a NGO called FARVets in which he leads teams of veterinarians, veterinary technicians, veterinary and pre-veterinary students to places domestic and abroad to work with local needy communities to address the overpopulation and welfare issues in the stray dog and cat population as well as pets of families that don’t have access to veterinary care. He has traveled to countries in Central America, the Caribbean, Eastern Europe, and Southeast Asia. He and his family enjoy playing sports, and camping and hiking with their dogs and cats.
