Anne Marie McPartlin has been a vet tech for over 20 years. She is originally from Canada, but has lived in all four corners of North America. She has worked primarily in emergency and critical care, both in academia and in private specialty hospitals. Three years ago, she joined Maddie’s Shelter Medicine Program at Cornell and gained experience in many aspects of Shelter Medicine, including HQHVSN. Since 2010, she has been a volunteer and consultant for the Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association – Rural Area Veterinary Services (HSVMA-RAVS) and was hired full time with them in August 2015. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and painting. She currently owns a 3 lb. Chihuahua, named Donald, that she believes is the cutest dog in the world – although she affably admits that some might not agree.
